I guess its thier money...

The US house of representatives are in favor of building a wall much like the one they have on thier Mexican border along the 49th paralell.

From Wikipedia;
Canada and the United States of America share the longest common border, officially known as the International Boundary, between any two countries that is not militarized or actively patrolled. The terrestrial boundary (including small portions of maritime boundaries on the Atlantic, Pacific, and Arctic coasts as well as the Great Lakes) is 8,891 kilometres (5,522 mi) long, including 2,477 kilometres (1,539 mi) shared with Alaska.

Thats alot of wall!

Peter King, chairman of the House committee on homeland security, urged his colleagues to pass what he called emergency legislation in a letter this week.

"So long as our borders remain porous, our citizens are threatened,'' he wrote. "Over the past year, we have witnessed numerous terrorist threats and arrests both here and abroad and we owe it to every American to take immediate action.'

Uhh, Mr. King? Wouldn't the billions the wall will cost be better spent on Intelligence and law enforcement? Isn't the panic stricken rush to build a wall on a safe border with a free, friendly and prosperous country letting the terrorists win?

Meh, its your money.
