I've called the NDP position "political masturbation" before on other blogs, alluding to the parallels between it and other forms of masturbation But I think that I'd better clarify my position a bit.

• Masturbation only benefits the one doing it. Jacks partisan wankings are only for his own enjoyment, and his own benefit. He's not adding anything to the debate.

• Any kind of masturbation should be done in the privacy of your own home, as you self-stimulation is offensive and even obscene to decent folk.

• Those who engage in such activities belong in jail, or at least require psychiatric repair before they do harm to innocent young minds. As Neo pointed out in the last topic, Layton's got a medical condition. But that shouldn't excuse him from his perversions. You'd want a guy locked up for jerkin' the gerkin wouldn't you?

• And finally, theres nothing wrong with Political masturbation, it may even help Jacks debating skills, if he ever manages to find a partner. Just do it at home and in private Jack, okay?
