Insults, smears, and general childishness. Welcome to Canadian politics, Left wing.

The demonizing of the Conservative government has really set my teeth on edge, and when you combine the enthusiastic media bias with the high road strategy of not fighting back the CPC has adopted you only hear one side of the story.

I know, turning the other cheek is a Christian thing to do, but after the second blow its okay in my book to fight back!

I for one would like to see the CPC speak up in its own defence, 'cause its about bloody time!

Demonizing the Conservatives? I guess I can understand how that could be irksome. I mean religating the Conservatives to a mere underling of Satan when, as we all know, they are more akin to Devil than we may ever know.

As for not fighting back I am a little confused. While denying everything is hardly turning the other cheek and it is not rolling over and playing dead. It is somewhere in between. I remember a kid chewing gum and blowing bubbles in class denying he was chewing gum. I guess just saying "Wasn't me" is a good enough defense.

I figure the reason they do not defend themselves (as you suggest) is because that would give them publicity and the Conservatives prefer to do things in the backrooms, under the table, and behind closed doors. It is hard to do that with the spotlight shining in your eyes.

Classic example of the level of the left's debate. Attack, insult, smear.

Thank you that fine example.

Allow me to clarify,
As an example, take the cuts announced to Liberal plans. Not responding to alligations of being mean-spirited and out to get the little guy is not fighting back.
The CPC should have made damn sure to mention, over and over, that most of the cuts were to the administration or unused bugetary funds in the affected programs, or that the programs had already fufilled their purpose.

You notice that I never mentioned Belinda?

As for your last paragraph, that was the last 13 years of the Liberanos, with thier envalopes full of taxpayer money and thier endless patronage appointments.

Good grief... if any of the sheeple actually think this compendium of fake outrage and candy-ass platitudes is as important as the Liberal Party of Canada does, by all means vote in the totally discredited ex-premier of Ontario to lead you down the muddy, socialist garden path.

I think I'll stick with the man and the party, who actually give a crap that things get done.
