Need more proof that the Opposition is talking out of their asses and ignoring the will of the people?
Majority supports Israel

Almost two in three Canadians believe Israel's military action in Lebanon is justified, a new poll has revealed.

The survey, conducted online by Ipsos Reid for CanWest News Service and Global National, found 64% of Canadians believed Israel's action is either somewhat or completely justified.

Of course, this poll also provides more credence to the argument that the Media is ignoring the facts and pursuing a "Take the opposite side from Harper no matter what" policy.
"The only issue, really, is the stark divide between the two areas of the country, where Quebec -- and sometimes Atlantic Canada but mainly Quebec -- is at odds with the views of the majority of other Canadians," said John Wright, senior vice-president at Ipsos Reid.
Quebecers have always held views of pacifism, even resisting going to war against Hitler. Couple that with a mild anti-semetic streak, and 50,000 Lebanese-Canadians living in Quebec and you will find the reason for the poll results.

Of course, this is only a poll.
